The Big Tiki
For one little country, there’s so much to see and do, and Contiki’s 19-day The Big Tiki shows 18-35’s the best that New Zealand has to offer. Starting in Auckland and ending in Christchurch, guests travel from north to south, making overnight stops in Queenstown, Hanmer Spring, Waitomo Caves, Wellington, Rootua, Paihia and Franz Josef. With New Zealand being the adventure capital of the word, there are an endless amount of awesome inclusions on this trip, like a thrilling ShotoverJetboat ride in Queenstown and a hot pool swim in Hanmer Springs. Travellers are also treated to a tasting tour at the iconic Speights Brewery and a zip to the top of the Sky Tower for 360 degree views of Auckland. There are also plenty of adrenalin-rushing optionals for travellers to choose from in their ME Time, whether it’s bungee jumping and sky diving in Queenstown or setting off on a hike of Franz Glacier. They can also choose to relax on a fishing trip along Lake Taupo or take in the breathtaking scenery on a cruise of Milford Sound.

'Sweet As' South
New Zealand’s south island is legendary for adventure-seekers and the 9-day ‘Sweet As’ South trip provides all the thrills the region has to offer. Starting and ending in Christchurch, the trip heads from north to south, spending 4 nights in exciting Queenstown, as well as nights in Dunedin, Lake Oahu and Franz Josef Glacier. Travellers’ Backstage Pass includes awesome activities like a ShotoverJetboat ride, a fun theme party in Lake Oahu, dinner at Winnies Pizza Pub in Queenstown and a visit to Wanaka’s Puzzling World to see if they can make their way through the ‘Great Maze’. For those with the need for speed and action, Contiki offers some of the best optionals for guests to enjoy in their ME Time, including a canyon swing on a giant rope across Shotover River (109m up!), a helicopter flight to land on Fox Glacier and a guided glacier hike of Franz Josef Glacier. Travellers can also opt for a 3-day ski option while in Queenstown and take advantage of some of the island’s best slopes!

Ultimate NZ Ski
Those itching to get back to the slopes in the off-season can head on Contiki’s 7-day Ultimate NZ Ski trip that runs departure dates from June to September. These months are winter in New Zealand, meaning the hills are capped with fresh snow, just waiting to be shred by snowboarders and skiiers alike. Spending 6 nights in Queenstown, young travellers take to the area’s three epic ski ranges – Remarkables, Coronet Peak and Cadrona – with all passes included, as well as daily transfers up and down the mountain. If any guests want to take a break from the slopes, they can choose from several of Contiki’s ME Time optionals, like a tandem skydive or AJ Hackett bungee jump. All breakfasts are included so travellers can get fuelled up for full days on the slopes, as well as two dinners at some of Queenstown’s most popular restaurants.
