As part of a Diwali bonanza, the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) will offer highly discounted tariff to guests travelling the Pride of South destinations, starting on 16 October from Bengaluru on the Golden Chariot luxury train.

Following a successful Dasara season this year when the entire train was full for the trip to Mysore, KSTDC announced a special fare at a discount of 40% as part of the Diwali Bonanza offer to encourage more people to experience the royalty on board the Golden Chariot.

Golden Chariot has 44 luxury cabins which can accommodate 88 people. The tour is for three nights to seven nights and is priced at Rs 13,200 per person per day for Indians and Rs.22,600 for foreigners at 40% discounted fare. The package is inclusive of accommodation, meals and sightseeing.

The Pride of the South destinations are as below -
Day 1: Bangalore
Day 2: Kabini, Srirangapatna
Day 3: Mysore
Day 4: Hassan, Belur, Halebeedu, Shravanabelagola
Day 5: Hampi- A world Heritage Site
Day 6: Pattadakal- A world Heritage Site, Badami
Day 7: Goa- a World Heritage Site
Day 8: Bangalore
